We charge a flat rate of $10 for regular shipping and $15 for express post.

Please remember made to order purchases take us 2-3 weeks to make before we can send it to you. Once it is complete you will get notification that it’s on its way to you.

What is your return policy?

If you have received a faulty or incorrect item we will happily arrange for the fault to be fixed or exchange for the correct item at no cost to you.

Unfortunately, as our garments are made to order we cannot offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind or order the wrong size.

What happens if I accidentally loose or damage the garment?

Is everything ethically produced?

All our fabrics are ethically sourced. Our Australian fabric suppliers personally check the state of their factories and workers every year to make sure they are compliant.

Our garments are hand dyed and sewn in our little studio in Perth.

In these terms and conditions, “our”, “us”, and “we” refers to Verdant the label, “Shop” orders refer to all orders place through the Shop page of our website, including standard size, custom size and made to measure orders. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time. Use of our website, including but not limited to placing an order/request constitutes agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Customers must be over 18 to access and make purchases through this website.

All prices listed on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time.

Purchases made through our website are processed through Paypal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal and gift vouchers purchased through our store.

Gift vouchers and credit notes will be valid for 12 months from the purchase date. After 12 months they will expire and no-longer be able to be used.

Shop and hire orders are to be paid in full at time of placing the order. Custom order payment information is provided under Custom Orders (below).

Production of made to order garments will be completed within 4 weeks. Any delays will be communicated with the customer at our discretion. Refunds may be offered to customers at our discretion if delays are deemed to be substantial.

Business hours are defined as Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Fittings and order pickups are to take place within these times. Alternative times may be available, upon request, at our discretion. Any person arriving at our premises without appointment or prior arrangement is trespassing, and will be asked to leave.

If an appointment is made, and the customer wishes to change the time or date or cancel, at least 24hours notice must be given by email. If a customer cancels with less than 24 hours notice or does not present at the time of the appointment a $50 fee will apply.

Returns/ Refunds

All our garments are produced on a made to order basis, with each garment being made upon the order/request of the customer and thus we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges.

All credit notes and gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

In the case that the item received is faulty, or incorrect you must notify us within 1 week of receiving the item. The item must not have been worn or washed, is to be returned to our studio. For orders received by post, we will pay for return postage. We will repair or replace the item at our discretion. Items must not be returned until we instruct the customer to do so. If any item is returned without proper notice we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to that item.

All customers are liable for any selections they make in placing their order. All orders, including shop and custom made orders, once processed, cannot be cancelled. Any amendments to orders are at our discretion, and we reserve the right to refuse any requests made once production has commenced.

Shop and hire orders are to be paid in full at time of placing the order. Custom order payment information is provided under Custom Orders (below).

Verdant the Label reserves the right to reject or cancel any order for any reason, at any time, if this occurs we will provide customers with a refund.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed via the original payment method, upon return of the garment (where applicable).

Hire Orders

If faulty or incorrect item is received the customer must notify us within 24 hours to amend the issue. Where the issue cannot be corrected in a reasonable timeframe an alternate item will be provided where possible or a refund. If notice is not sent within 24 hours the customer assumes responsibility for the fault.

To cancel a hire order you must notify us by email. For orders cancelled with at least two weeks notice before the booking date, a credit note will be issued to the full value of your original order. Any cancelations received less than two weeks before the booking date will not be eligible for refund or credit note, exchanges may be provided at our discretion.

We reserve the right to cancel any hire order, if this occurs we will provide customers with refund or exchange where possible.

By placing a hire order the customer assumes all responsibility for the garment from when they pick it up/ it is posted, and agree to pay any damages. Where damage or loss has occurred we reserve the right to charge the customer for the cost of the repair or replacement up to the retail value of the garment, as determine by us.

Hire orders are to be returned to our Maylands studio during business hours, unless otherwise agreed upon. Hire garments are to be returned unwashed. Any damage, including but not limited to: shrinkage, bleaching, broken stitching or torn fabric, incurred in a customer’s attempt to wash, remove a stain or dry-clean the item themselves, will be their responsibility, and they agree to pay any costs of repair or replacement.

Custom Made

Custom made orders will be priced at the discretion of our design staff, depending on the expected supplies and labour required.

The amount of time required for the completion of custom made orders will depend on the complexity of the design, expected timeframe will be provided at the initial consultation. Custom made orders usually require a minimum of 4 weeks, unless a shorter time frame is agreed upon by us. The timeframe stated by us is assuming the customer will be availability for fittings when required and no change be made to the order. The customer is responsible for ensuring their availability for fittings within the times provided by Verdant the Label. Any restriction in the customer’s availability may cause delay in production.

Custom made orders will receive a quote at the initial consultation, and be required to pay a 50% deposit within one week of this appointment. If payment is not received within this timeframe the order will be cancelled. No work will commence on custom orders before the deposit is payed. Once this deposit is received the order is considered placed, and can no longer be cancelled. Any changes requested by the customer after the initial quote may incur additional costs, at the discretion of our design staff. The customer will be informed when their garment has been completed at which the remainder of the quoted price plus any additional costs incurred will be due within one week. All payments must be received by Verdant the Label before the customer can receive their garment. If payment is not received within one week a 10% late fee will be applied, an additional 10% late fee will be applied for each additional week there after that the payment is not received.

Privacy Policy

Verdant the Label respects your right to privacy. Any information collected through the website and online store will be secure and will not be sold or shared by Verdant the Label with a third party. Verdant the Label will not be liable for any information collected by, and subsequently sold or shared by companies providing services to our website. Verdant the Label will not be liable for any information shared or sold as a result of cyber crime against us or companies providing services to our website.


All content and images used on this website are owned or licensed by verdant the label for use on this site only. By sending your photos to us you are confirming that you are the owner and have obtained permission from all other persons featured (or appropriate guardian for persons under 18) for use of this photo on Verdant the Label website and social media pages. Verdant the label is not liable for any content, comments or photos submitted by customers.

Unauthorised copying or use of any content or images on this website or the Verdant the Label social media is prohibited. Use of any content or images from this website without our permission is against the law, as outlined in the Australian Copyright Act 1968.

All information contained in this website, our social media, or provided by phone, email or other means by Verdant the Label staff is general in nature and our opinion only, we do not assume liability for the accuracy or completeness of this information. All orders are able to be picked up in person or shipped. Pickup is available from our studio in Maylands during business hours. Pickup outside business hours is at our discretion. Address for pickup will be provided after order is placed, if pickup is selected.

We provide flat rate shipping within Australia via Australia Post. We may conduct some local deliveries ourselves, in which case the same shipping rates are incurred. Shipping prices are available in our frequently asked questions. For expected shipping times see the Australia Post website. Shipping times are out of our control and we will not be held liable for any delays.

Express shipping is recommended for hire items sent by post. Customers are required to pay the flat rate cost of shipping the item to them. Return shipping is payed for by us, and a return shipping label is included in the package. If the return label is missing, lost or damaged please contact us for a replacement. All hire items are required to be returned to us in the original packaging. If the packaging is damaged or lost while in your possession you will be responsible for any costs of repackaging.

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide correct shipping and contact information at the time of order, Verdant the label will not be responsible for orders delivered to the incorrect address.

Shipping is at the customer’s own risk. Verdant the label will not be liable for orders lost, stolen or damaged while in transit or once delivered to your property.

We do not provide a standard rate for international shipping. Any costs of international shipping will be paid for by the customer. The customer will pay any additional charges, duties or taxes incurred due to, but not limited to, export, import or customs. If you wish to place an order from outside Australia please contact us first so we can apply the correct charge for shipping.
